Im going to be swapping my 289 for the 408 build I been working on tho the motor is not done yet. So Im going to replace my floor pan when I pull the motor in the next few weeks I have a complete floor pan kit but as far as I can tell only need the driver side. I was thinking of using fatmat http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/50-F...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a0c742a4c

When using fatmat do I still need to install underlayment? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360325828351&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Now carpet any likes and dislikes as far as brands and fit? Here are 2 I was looking at one is at the same place with the under layment they also have the seat pan Im going to get Its local so I can pick the items up.

Suggest using the forum search but in a nutshell I would recommend the following:

eDead80 sound deadener

ACC carpet

I ordered mine from Don at WCCC and was very happy with the fit - only had to do some very minor trimming and it lays nice and smooth.

Actually T3, it was a serious question, but I (now) see the humorous angle. And to think I gave a promising career in comedy for electrical engineering... :buck:
