Doing a conversion from a Autolite 2100 2bbl to a Edelbrock 1406 4bbl. I have a Edelbrock 2121 performer intake manifold. What size spacer (between the intake manifold and carburetor) should I use for this? They give options from 1 inch, 1/2 inch ect. Which would work best?

Thanks,
Nate

None is needed really. Sometimes one will give you a slight increase in high RPM power, especially on a dual plane intake like yours. The best ones to use are the phenolic since they don't transfer as much heat.

Yeah, you might want to try without one for a while first. I had to add one after suffering a hot start problem. The 1" phenolic spacer cured the problem.
