Just like the last muscle-car i baught, the previous owner did all the wrong things (to me anyway).

need a spacer so the vacuume advance will have a place to plug into. Not the static vac. port. It must go below the carberurator butterflies, or else it wont run too good.

I was just looking at the pic of your engine, On a Holliy carb the Vacume advance hooks up were it is on your carb. On the metering plate just above the idle mixture screw. If I remember correctly, On a Clevland it gets a compision spacer under the carb thats about .25 thick. Neal.
