I have a 68 with a 302 automatic that now has a holley 4 barrel on it which leaks again even after a rebuild So I purchased a 1406 edelbrock thats supposed to be completely rebuilt! So after installing it the moter never did fire up! Fuel filter and pump are fine so what should I look for as the carb doesnt seem to be getting any fuel to it?

If fuel is not getting to the carb, and the filter and pump are both good, its either a blockage in the line or in the tank.
If you've ruled out a blockage preventing fuel getting to the carb, it almost has to be that the float is stuck (or seriously mis-adjusted), or the needle is stuck in the seat.
