Hi everyone,
We had our last "stuctured" cruise event for the year last night in Sioux City, and heard this comment as we were driving away. "Oh yeah...that's a rare car! It has those tail lights like on a Mustang that go bleap-bleap-bleap." I thought you might enjoy a little laugh at the expense of an "expert":uhoh:

Yeah,..newer Mustang! Sheep go; bleat-bleat-bleat. My sequentials go; Zing-Zang-Zow!(arm jutting out in a lateral movement in time with the lights flashing)

Sequential tail lights first came out on the 1966 Thunderbird, followed by the 1967 Mercury Cougar. The 1968-70 Shelby Mustangs also had them. So in a way he was correct, except for the sound. LOL

Minor detail, but it was actually the 1965 Thunderbird. '65 T-bird taillights were used in the '68-'70 Shelby Mustangs. And of course the '67 Shelby had Cougar taillights, minus the vertical ribs.
