Does anyone know whether the covers for the back seat of a hard top can be modified to suit the back seat of a convertible? I have a 1970 convertible.

Thanks,
Sam

Yes, it can be modified. When we built my '68 convertible, that's what we had to do. In order for it to look right, the outer edges have to be trimmed back to the narrower dimensions of the convertible seat.

Thanks Bill.

I don't suppose anyone has done it with a '69 or '70, or has any reason to think it would be any different?

This is my 69 convert seat back , I think I see what they are talking about . Its pulled in and narrowed at the top . Hope this helps .

This 69 seat measured 41. 5 inches from bead to outside bead . Could be 42 and would work . This is a original 69 back seat untouched .
