Strange buzzing clicking noise whenever you turn the headlights on coming from the trunk. Step on the brakes and it stops

Does the buzzing also occur when you just turn on the parking lights? I ask because the headlights and parking lights both turn on the taillights. The buzzing could be a short somewhere back there.

Both your rear light problem and the buzzing are likely due to faulty grounds at the lamp sockets.

on a 67 , there is a circut breaker in the drivers side above the taillights under the l/h trunk ledge----suggesting a short
