It has been in the registry for many years. The dash pad looks like the old pad was removed and a replacement pad from an XR7 put on. The cluster surround might have been changed due to taste or peeling. The door panels still look like the standard panels.
IMHO, if the body is solid and the drivetrain is numbers matching, the asking price is a realistic starting point.
I understand that this would allow more body flex, and cause stress and possibly cracks.
Where would you expect that damage to show up? i.e. where should I look and check for if I were inspecting a car without the shock tower braces?
