Ok, what is the story with "Blog Posts" and what's the difference between those and a regular thread?

Also, is there any way to edit your own posts that are older than a day or so?
Or edit the thread title?

You should start this thread in the "Site comments" section. Admin might make some changes.

So far as I know, only moderators can change thread titles. If there is a good reason for that, I don't know it. Same for time limit on editing your posts (although if you wait a long time, others might miss the edit since most probably don't re-read prior posts).

Blog posts (my opinion) don't add anything to the site. The threaded discussions do the same thing, except the blogs don't show up when you use the "show new posts" button. Thus, at least the way I use the forum, they get less attention.

I guess I'm just looking for a better way to keep "my" semi-weekly Eliminator thread updated in the market section, without having to make a new thread each time.
