Any experiences/warnings/advice before I try this? I presume there's some sort of adhesive that holds the glass. Can it be softened with heat or solvent? Or do I just try to get a screwdriver in there and pry it apart?

Jody, don't try to pry it out. I have both quarter windows out and so I decided to experiment on 1 of them. The q-window frame has 2 pieces that the glass sets in. 1st, I removed the screw on the bottom that holds the weather stripping on the front of the window frame. 2nd, I then pulled down the w/s out of the channel. 3rd, I removed the 2 screws near the top in the front window channel where the w/s was. 4th, on the back of the 2nd piece towards the bottom I removed 2 screws. I then lifted the 2nd piece off. The glass has a seal around it. I then gently lifted the glass out of the 1st piece. Good luck. John

Thanks. Glad I asked first before attacking them.
