I'm in need of new back up lamps for my
67 xr-7. Does anyone know if the lamps
from a 65-66 Mustang are the same or
close to the same. I found some on a
Mustang website for a pretty good price.
They sell a complete kit : 2 lamps, 2 lenses,
and 4 gaskets which is what i need.

Hi Jim, you could check cougar parts vendor website and compare the mustang part number to the cougar one. Mustangs Unlimited is one of the vendors site I use . If I recall correctly, they should be the same. Hope this helps!

The 67-68 Mustang uses the same backup lights as the 67-68 Mustang. The backup light kits are now available in a reproduction set which includes the lights, lenses, gaskets and housing pads for $70. John @ Cascade Classics
