Just like it says i'm getting all the crank i could want but no spark. Pretty much everything is new, for anyone that recognizes me, you know that my car has a brand new universal wiring harness, and i put in a new solenoid, coil, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and condensor. All i can say is that everything is hot going to the coild, and i'm getting power out of it, but no spark. Anyone have ideas? 69 coug, 351w 2bbl, c4auto(pretty sure)

are the points set up properly??? To much gap will cause no fire. Try running a wire from the positive battery terminal to the positive coil post and see if it starts (careful you dont lean over the fan or any moving parts). If it does, then its in the harness. Good luck.

Try manually opening points with ignition on and test for current across points with multi meter. If you have fire here, try putting in your old roter then dist cap, and finally coil wire. One of the new parts maybe bad out of the box.
