at 130,000 miles I blew a head gasket. took the heads in and had a valve job done and heads were milled to correct a slight imperfection. I trust the machine shop. new felpro gasket set and new head bolts. after putting it all back together STILL burning coolant thru the tailpipe. I have an old chiltons that said to go to 37 lbs-45 lbs-52 lbs-59 lbs. then loosen 2 turns and retorque same lbs steps. I did some research and found a 85-90 degree step after the lbs and loosen 2 turns. so I think I did not get a correct torque on the bolt. I was going to take it back apart and try the degree settings. then see if that cured it. anybody with more smarts than me I would love to hear any suggestions. sorry for the long story and thanks in advance for any help. it is a 3.8 no blower.
