My 1973 cougars blower motor was making a horrible beating sound. It ended up being the bearing in the blower motor. I bought a new blower and it runs strong but i cant get any air out of my vents now. What do i do? I have been told it could be vacuum related? If so can someone tell me where to get a vacuum line schematic. What else could it be?

Did you make sure that the squirrel cage is tightly connected to the blower motor shaft?

Another thing, it could be wired backwards and spinning the wrong dirction.

Thats the difference between sucking and pushing if its wired wrong, there should be some evidence of air movement regardless. I bought a vacumm schematic off ebay a couple years ago I will PM you with details.
