wish I would have asked before I spent 2 hours trying to get the old one off. The only reason I posted was because I couldn't get the last bolt off without removing the dash.Thank you for solving a big pain in the..........ss.

you do have to change the brake pedal because the piston from the master will not hook up to a standard brake petal.The pin in a differnt spot,about two inch difference.
is there anyone with a 72 cougar that has disc brakes in the front that could take some pictures of how the brake lines are run to the brake hoses from the master cylinder
