My wife dumped the mail on the table today and when I walked by and glanced down something jumped out at me.

Pretty cool...

The Cougar is used throughout the catalog.

I notice a 72 on the license plate peaking through in one shot. I confess I'm not as up on '71 and on Cougars. Maybe this is a '72?

Here's another pic.

Seat belt warning light... Engine-choice-wise, 71 was last year of the high compression 351C-4V 'M'-code engines, and last year for the 429 engine options... A few more things engine/drivetrain-related...

The color appears to be pastel blue - which was a 70-71 color - 72-73 lt blue replaced it. BTW there is a 71 C Code XR7 that matches this color combo. no outward exterior differences between the two years. Numbers "detail" changes - and various running production chnages.
