The brake lights on my wife's '71 convertible have failed. The light sockets are quite corroded/rusted. Are these sockets available?

Can someone tell me how to remove the tail light assembly for this '71. I think that I may be able to adequately clean the sockets.

I don't know about the 71, but you might check inside the trunk for the nuts that hold them on.

Thats the way they are on my 68, but on the 71 there are 2 bolts that go through the back wall of the trunk and I'm not sure if these hold the tail light assemblies or something else. They go through what looks like a "T" bracket and then through the wall of the trunk. Are thesethe bolts that hold the assemblies in, or are there more underneath the bumper/car?
