Thanks alot, you've got a really nice cougar too! :D It is lowered as of now due to budget reasons, would be nice to get in the future though :)
Good stance either way I was just curious. Thanks for posting the pic's and the compliment. Good to see another phat cat on the road :smoke:

Green Beast- Car looks great! Keep it up! We have a one owner 1971 gobbler green xr7 convertible. I'm looking to replace /repair the door panels which have some cracks. Since you are in Canada, do you know of someone who might have access to a pair of better conditioned door panels and at an affordable price? Thanks for a reply. Bob

I'm surprised I haven't posted my 71 XR-7 here yet.

Not the rarest one, but it is still in mostly original paint, top and interior.

I have a 1973 XR7 convertible I am in the process or starting to restore and post videos on the progress.

Hope everyone enjoys it. Haven't started much by way of restos or repairs nor many videos. Hopefully soon more will come :)

This is my ‘73 XR-7 351C 4bbl after restoring it to its original numbers matching View attachment 117453 View attachment 117454 “Gold Glamour” shine!
Nice! I bet my xr7 used to look something like that. Don't think I will stick with it but who knows...

I am debating after bodywork is done, I may get it Clear coated (or just primer) and get it wrapped for durability and cost.

Any thoughts? (I know wrapping it maybe "sacrilegious" but if it's cheaper then a high quality paint job that will "save" the car... better to "save" one or loose it to rust due to lack of funds for a show worthy type paint job?
