1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 for sale, VIN 0F93M522022. This has the original numbers-matching 351 cubic inch Cleveland V8 engine (M-code) with high compression 4 barrel (venturi) heads.

The body is in decent shape, with just a few small dents. The front driver quarter panel has been repaired and needs to be finished and sanded. It’s not wearing the original paint. The doors also have some sag to them. There’s no headliner in it now. I have the parts to replace it, but I haven’t done it yet.

Its always been a California car (made at the old San Jose plant, sold in LA) so there's so no rust damage, except the drivers floor plan has a small spot.

- 351C 4V engine
- FMX (Merc-O-Matic) automatic transmission
- bucket seats
- power front disc brakes
- console
- power steering
- 3.0 standard rear end (better for gas mileage)
- power steering

options the car originally was ordered with:
- Air conditioning *- Selectaire
- AM/8-track stereo
- tilt steering column (the original is in the trunk, but needs some clean-up)
- styled steel wheels
- black houndstooth vinyl roof

It has the original numbers-matching drivetrain (engine, transmission, rearend). I have the Ford 999 report (build sheet), a Marti report, and the clean title in my name.

I recently moved to San Francisco, and I don’t have the space for it anymore. The car is located at my work in Mountain View.

I'm asking $4500. Call or text (530) 429-5001, or email to take a look at it.
