When installing new tank is it metal to metal being tank right to trunk floor or should there be some type of gasket or insulator/sealer in between?

Thats very nice, already have tank, just wanted to know if it was correct to gasket or insulate between tank and trunk pan? Did not say in add.

I just used a bead of windscreen sealer - black butyl sealant

I was told to buy the seam sealer and use that uder flange.
