I guess that means it is a std Cougar with a few parts from a Boss Eliminator, and that the owner has put a matching number on the car. He did not tell what that number was supposed to match, but I guess it would be a marti report or the title going with the car? How someone can say a rebodied car is a matching number car is truly interesting. Can it have something to do with money?

He has been trying to sell it for awhile on the Boss 302 site... well fishing is more like it. Finally had to admit it is a re body Cougar on the ebay ad.

From what I gather it's a rebodied Boss 302. Supposedly the original drivetrain, but obviously missing a lot of other parts. I hope whoever bought it did a careful inspection.
