Does anyone have a suggestion on how to repair the sending unit? I've had mine out and cleaned it and replaced the float. But the best I can get asa reading on the fuel gauge is just under a half. I see there is a sensor that can be installed in the tank. Does anyone reapir these old units or remanufacture them. It sure gets old guessing when I need to stop and add fuel.

I repaired mine using parts from a new sender and buying a new low fuel thermister from WCCC I would gladly do this for you if you send me your old sensor.. Or I could walk you through the process if you are mechanically inclined.
