ok I assume to operate the windshield washer on a 69 std you push in on the wiper control.
I don't seem to be getting any power to the pump when I do this. I applied power to the pump direct and it seems to work. so before I started tracing wires and pulling the switch I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I am no help to ya but was wondering 69 must have been the first year for electronic washer? I think mine works all off the washer pedal. Harder you push the harder is sprays.

Nope, you aren't missing anything, that's how it works.

Harvey, '69 has an electric washer pump. Only 67-68 have the pedal.

KS cat, put power directly on the wire that goes from the switch to the pump. If the pump works, then you know it's the switch. If it doesn't work, then you have a wiring issue.
