I have had 3 remanufactured power steering pumps put in my 69 XR 7 over the past 2 months and they have all failed and ended up with very little pressure at lower rpm's (below 2500). It causes the steering to become "manual" when at idle or trying to park. I have bled and burped the entire system each time, so I don't think it is due to air. Could there be another part of the power steering system that would cause this issue?
Could the control valve or cylinder be at fault here?
I'm stumped as to why the pumps keep failing.
Thanks for the help,
