Question....how would I know if my 69 XR7 came from the factory with the door speakers? If the original doors are missing or were changed, would the invoice tell me if the car came with the speakers in the door...car came equipped originally with AM 8 track stereo radio

If your 1969/70 Cougar originally came with either AM/8 track or AM/FM stereo, it had the door speakers.

If you are going to use the original AM 8 track, be sure to use 8 ohm speakers, and they need to be very thin to miss the window mechanism.
