While I am begging, might as well ask for this as well!

Looking for a 69-73 AC evaporator thermostat. This is a square box with two spade terminals and a temperature probe (that goes into the evaporator core) that mounts to the top of the heater/AC box and cycles the AC clutch. Mine seems to be intermittent.

PM me if you have a spare you'd like to sell.

Thanks,

Bob

I think these are available new from Classic Auto Air. CAA Part # 16-104
Yep, most of the usual suspects sell them, some for more than others. I like to try and find good used first before plunking down more $$ than I might have to.

There is classic auto air, then there are the other parts stores that have a mexican made thermostat. I got the mexican one because it was cheaper and seems to work fine. But it is a little different as far as shape if you are going for originality.

There were at least 3 different versions for 69-70 alone. One Before February 25, 1969, One after Feb 25 and before October 4, 1969, then one after Oct 4, 1969. They might have Internal differences. Originals have these dates next to the Connecting Pins for verification.
