Hi all,
i'm looking for a new upholstery for my front seats (70cougar)

Now i saw on mustangsunlimited that they offer a 69kit and a 70 kit
but look just the same and if i am not mistaking, a 69 and 70 are almost identically

Difference is : 299$for the 69 / 399$ for the 70

Can anyone tell me the difference or can i use the 69kit for my 70cougar ?
it saves me a 100$

the pictures on their web site are not accurate. 69 had a regular bucket with separate headrest except for eliminators which had the high back bucket. All 70's had high back buckets.

Your signature indicates that you have an XR7 which has leather seats standard. The upholstery you are looking at is not for the XR7.

what ever type of material you need , if its not black get a real color sample before purchasing---you may have to get material from sms and have your local upholstery shop recover them

I need a black one, so getting the color right will be no problem.
and i ordered a kit from west coast .......cougar
no picture from it on the site but it says XR7 Cougar
so i consider it to be right

I have one on order for my 1969 Vert' from Don. Going to have a local shop install it so it comes ouit right the first time. I also got the new foam. No sense going half way. Pat Price

ordered me te foam aswell,
its on of the last things i need to do before my car is finished

and i ordered from don multiple times,
a new printed circuit (gauges ) just arrived from don aswell, will install it tommorow ( if i can find them lights somewhere around here )
