Can somebody show me the 70 Cougar sport mirror bases? Left and right.
I did not have passenger side mirror on my 69 but I want to install one.
I see that the 69 driver side base shape is completly different than the 70 passenger side. Does the 70 have the same base shape on both side?

69 & 70 driver's side bases are the same shape. They sit on a flat boss on top of the driver's side door. The passenger side base sits on an angle in the valley between the body lines. Here's a picture of a 70 passenger mirror from Copy Cat.
