just wondering how rare they are? where i might find a set? and does anyone have a pic of a 69-70 cougar with front bumper guards they could send me?..........

the reason i'm asking is because i have a couple sets for 69-70 mustangs and they are pretty hard to come by. i really like the loook of them.... just thought about adding a set to our cougar someday but i have no idea how the cougars look with them cause i've never seen one with them.......... thanks jace

They seem to be kinda rare, probably have been dented, rusted or bent over the years and then pulled and tossed. Try any of the larger used cougar parts vendors, they'll probably have them. I had a rough pair and traded them in as core replacements for a rechromed set from <a href="http://www.bumperboyz.com/main.htm">Bumper Boyz</a>. I think they were about 80 or 90 with the cores.
