I really did not think that I would be posting this question but I have been working in my engine compartment for four to five weekends fixing things and I had purchased a voltage regulator when I bought a new alternator. Got the alt installed but for the life of me I can't find the voltage regulator to replace. All of my older cars always had it mounted near the solenoid. Any clues? BTW - I have a stock 302-2V.

The voltage regulator mounts on the radiator core support just to the left (drivers side) of the radiator. It's held on by 2 screws. I'll try to post a pic (I have to find my VR first). John EDIT: Here's a pic. DSC01265.jpg

As they say, tell a blind man to open his eyes and he will see. Iwas looking all around the solenoid and battery area on the passenger side. As soon as I saw what 68PUMA posted I went right out and there it was clear as day. Many thanks for opening my eyes.
