There's a link in the Craigslist ad to a series of HIGH DEFINITION youtube videos, where you can hear it run and watch it go.Does the car have an engine? How about the undderside of the car, is there anything there? Why on earth do you not post some good clear pictures? No one is going to buy or even be interested in the car without some idea of what they are potentially going to be interested in.
Gleam again because there are 5 or so HIDEF videos available on youtube.Vincent, we are trying to help you.
Both of the shakey walk around videos hardly show anything but the dented right rear wheel lip moulding, one has the sound of the engine running. I gleamed more from the Marti Report than I did from both videos.
Okay folks, one last time. If you are truly interested or semi-interested in the Cougar and want to see more pics just send me a PM, aka private message, with your email address. Then I will send you 50+ detailed pics. Perhaps people are afraid to give out their email address or maybe its just plain laziness. I just don't get it but rest assured I'm not selling email addresses to spammers.Cashew gallery chiming in here.... I have to believe his wife said sell the car. It's clear with his lack of photos he really does not want to. Sorry I have to agree with the above suggestion.
I would send them to Ebay because this is not an auction site. However, the purpose of this forum, in theory, is to connect buyers and sellers. Unfortunately, in reality, it's a place where sellers end up getting their cars grilled by folks, aka the "peanut gallery", who have no intention of ever even buying the car. It's more of a discussion forum for critics.Probably not my place but I come here to see and learn. If someone here has something to sell or show whey would you send them somewhere else? Also if the pictures were posted here a new guy like me would have comments from everyone to either reinforce the sell of the vehicle or to wisen me up on things that are not correct! I personally take a lot of stock in what the peanut gallery has to say. If I were to get the pictures via a pm or e-mail first thing I would do would be to post them here so others could give me feedback.
I for one greatly value the thoughts and opinions offered here. I almost with out question believe there are people here who know far more about that automobile than your modern day tech.I would send them to Ebay because this is not an auction site. If you need an opinion regarding the condition of the Cougar or any other car the best thing to do is have the car inspected and test driven by a professional in person. As I've mentioned before, I have no problem with having the Cougar inspected. I had it inspected before I purchased it in California because I'm located in Illinois.
:smoke:
I would think most prospective buyers would want a new inspection performed. Here is the company I used for the Cougar inspection back in 2009:Any way you can share the CA inspection papers? Might help a bunch.
Good for you!!!I for one greatly value the thoughts and opinions offered here. I almost with out question believe there are people here who know far more about that automobile than your modern day tech.
