Hi. Well I have been driving my 68 GT every day, except tomorrow...cause my ignition switch took a trip to dumpertown. It will go into the reverse position (accessory), but it takes a good 3 minutes of jiggling to get it to go to the start/ignition position. I remembered the trick of using the paper clip in the hole to get the switch out...but what is the trick to get it back in? Do you use the clip to get it in?..does it have to be in any certain position? I can get it almost in, but not all the way (I am still going to replace the cylinder), but I don't want to have this problem when I get the part. Also, could this problem be caused by a worn key? I only have one key (i know I know), but I may take the cylinder and the key into a key shop and make a new one and see if it fixes it. Any insite on that and/or getting it back in all the way?
