I just bought my cherry picker and engine stand and will be yanking the motor very soon.....were is the best places to attach a big chain to the motor? I want to minimize dismantling the motor until it is out of the car (actually going to have it rebuilt...not doing it myself).
Also, I am playing with the idea of dropping the compression a tad to make for a more fuel friendly car....has anyone dropped a 10.5 comp motor to 10.0? and if so, was there any noticable difference? I am also going to add a slight cam to the motor, so that should more than make up for lost HP from the compression change...thanks!

Well, tearing everything apart, I found the answer to my question....looks like built in lifts on the exhaust manifolds...made my life a little easier...
