Atempting to restore a 67 Cougar downunder and have the following questions.
Is it possible to buy new clear plastic instrument panel lenses?
Are there any good books avilable on performance buildups for the 390 engine? What does the FE code stand for? Will 67 Mustang windscreen stainless trim fit the 67 Cougar?
All advice greatly appreciated.

Don't know about the lenses.
Ford Performance by Pat Ganahl or (available at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1884089275/ref=pd_sr_ec_ir_b//102-5192236-0960901?v=glance&s=books ) or How to Rebuild Big Block Ford Engines
by Steve Christ, also at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0895860708/ref=pd_sim_books_1/102-5192236-0960901?v=glance&s=books are both good. High Performance Ford Engine Parts Interchange is a good guide if you are going top swap meets or have access to a lot of old parts.
FE stands for Ford Edsel.
I believe, but am not 100% certain, that the windsheild trim from a 67/68 Mustang will fit your 67. I have heard that the glass is the same.
