A little help I hope from some one, last night I put both fenders on my 67 getting it ready for body shop and bolted on hood, the hood is wider then the distance between fenders by about 1/4" the slots in fender run front to back. I just wonder if those shock towers are pulled in a little or maybe need jacked apart some, But now there is a new motor in there so maybe there is a way to get them spread out some, anyone seen this.
thansk

Eric, I suppose that is possible, on mine I had to readjust the fenders for the correct width for hood spacing. They will move side to side as well.

o.k. got it figured out the shock tower was leaned in towards motor so removed carb put port a power in between and jack apart then installed monte carlo brace and export brace now everything is straight and fender works

You should really check for cracks around the spring towers.
