Hey guys, I was going thru the gallery and I noticed two different center consoles in the 67's. One is all padded, the other one has a chrome trim strip around the edge. Are they both correct?? What's the difference?? Maybe it's a stupid question, but I never noticed before..
Thanks in advance

Hey Bruce, the "padded" console with the large clock below the radio is from an XR7, the other from a standard coug. :)

I wasn't sure if I had a 68 console. I have never seen that other console w/ the trim. And this is the only 67 I've ever had (only seen 1 other beside this 1) I kinda like the look of the other one...
Thanks Bruter :)

I am partial to the non-XR7 one as well...of course, that's the one I have in my coug!!:p: The "trim" is actually the console radio plate and the "padded" trim piece is smaller so it allows it to show.

Can't help you with the 68 console though...I tend to concentrate on the 67's.
