Normally only 68 big block cars had them.

Back to the OP.....my 68 302 car did not have one.

It was to curb icing on cars equipped with the Holley carburetor. Visit like posts from the past hear and you will get a good idea of which cars generally came with them. Many CJ cars came so equipped.

Not exactly. I don't know what the exact criteria was, but most (if not all) GT-E 427 cars did not get them. It looks to me that Big Block cars with AC were supposed to get them, but sometimes they goofed and installed one or two on non - AC Big Block cars. Just a guess.


Normally only 68 big block cars had them.

My 68 Mustang has a piece of one left. It was originally a 200 6 cyl. It seems like I read that all 6 cyl Mustangs had them and most V8 cars did not.
