i am getting another cougar to put my rebuilt 351c with approx. 400 hp. my question is

Option 1

should i rebuild the fmx and do suspension work such as springs, shocks, sway bars, bushings all around and steering componets.

Option 2

should i replace the fmx and do a manual conversion to a t56 magnum from american powertrain

i want to have the car running by next summer and since i am a college student i have a limited budget (i am pretty sure option 2 is too costly) but just wanted to hear what you guys think

Option 2 is about 6K. I called and talked with American Powertrain, they have done their own cougar, 357 Magnum they call it. Check their website out.
