This past Sunday the project continued of trying to figure out why there was this aweful squealing noise from the newly installed "almost new" trans. The thought process was that the main bearing retainer was a bit too long, allowing it to contact the clutch disc. This was causing the noise we were hearing. After removing the trans and cutting off about 3/16 from the end of it and reinstalling the trans., no more noise. Runs great.

I also installed the correct Hurst back up light switch for the Hurst shifter I installed so now the back up lights also work.

Next up is the install of the hydraulic steering cylinder I just ordered from WCCC. It's fun having the next project in que.

Thanks for reading.
