The guy that rebuilt my 390 2v used a comp cam CL33-422-9. I am not much of a motor head but mine runs just fine.

390 Roller Cams
Is there such a thing as a mild roller cam for a FE 390. My 68 XR7 has a Thumper cam and it has to go! Drive ability is gone. I want a cruiser not a racer. Any thoughts?

I always have liked the low-end torque smooth idle cams, just a little spicier than stock. I've not done a roller cam conversion though.
