Maybe someone could build one and send it over to FoMoCo R&D. How could it not be a seller! Considering the latest model Mustang sales,.....there everywhere! They could market it with the Eliminator package.....SOLD!

I really like the concept Cougar art based on the new platform Mustang. I really wish a new Cougar could be built, but that is wishful thinking. Something like this GT500KR or 1969 Boss by Retrobuilt would be really cool in a Cougar format.

John Aiken who is the designer on the 67 Cougar stated at the nationals that he visits the desgin dept at Ford every so often. The last time he was there a young design showed him a project with drawings of the Cougar based on the Mustang platform. So, I guess they are looking at it....
