ok guys, i have it sorta disassembled but cant seem to figure out how to get the rod and the ball stud out. any sugestions? btw any ever strighten a slighty bent ram cylinder rod?
My rod was slightly bent as well - it's hardened (i.e. brittle) so don't get very pushy. I worked it very carefully by supporting it with a wood block on the high side and slowly pushing toward the block from the low side. Not perfect but so far it's held up ok...
I think that's pretty Typical. I'm thinking about upgrading to better design though> Total Control or the RS racing one the Ausies put out looks really nice. Wonder if anybody here has one..? Curious as to how it worked out...
holy **** battman that site is wicked! i am adding to my favs! well i got the valve apart tonight. i was missing the part that threads into the brass sleeve. doh!
