What is the solution to 1971-1973 XR7 door panel replacement? I can find reproduced seat covers, but no door panels. Looks like they were reproduced at one time but not now. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There’s a video on YouTube where West Coast Cougar is installing new, improved 71-73 door panels but apparently they are now not manufactured. Crazy that just about everything is remanufactured for the interior but door panels. Especially since door panels always warp and break.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to make the 1973 Mustang Mach 1 door panel work on a Cougar? I realize it wouldn’t have the Cougar emblem, etc but it’d beat nothing.

Ive heard they will work but wont really look right. Its worth a shot to buy a pair of good used ones and try it out.

I have a pair of black door panels that are cut for power windows. Very minor warping and have no crackes at all. Probably the best originals you’ll ever find
