Hey Sal, I'll get some pictures taken and post them for you tomorrow. From what I heard the answer is yes. I have the same interior in my 70 XR7...I'll get those pics posted after work.

Okay, he sent it pdf. I'll see if this works for the pictures and info:

I have owned the cougar since the late 70's , I am the third owner.
it had 36k miles on it when I purchased it...and it has been
garage kept all the time I have had it.
48k miles now…,
Engine.. 351C , 300hp....
machine work done to heads about 20 years ago
installed a special modified motorcraft carb from a place out east that specialty does carbs for old
fords......
Breakerless ignition installed 5 years ago…
Radiator needs to be looked a, I think there maybe a pin hole that
leaks when under pressure. ???
New fuel tank and lines installed 10 years ago
Transmission is Auto.....FMX,,,,
leaks a little on the garage floor from the seal on the tail housing ....
Paint... was repainted around 12 years ago , Its ok but the metal
flake in that color could of been applied better ,,, there is a
small spot that needs repair on the right side fender on top of the fender , see photo,
it accidentally was scratched with a sander and removed some paint,,,..
There is no sign of body rust ......
Top,... is original to the car , there is a small area on the front by
the windshield that needs attention, see photo , it works nice both up and down........
back window does not leak..
Interior......Leather seats in nice shape, all original....
Chrome.. at the time of the repaint a number of pieces where replaced
with NOS..parts that took me years to find them at swap meets...,,,...
It has AC which was a low production number for convertibles
Has not been run for some time......
The head light doors work fine, but do go up over night, all those
vacuum lines are all original and there due to be redone , the vacuum
tank is a new NOS.item...
The sequencing tail lights work fine....
Tires are the polyglass from the 70s, no weather checking and in
great shape......
Brakes . the rear brake cylinders where replaced about
15 years ago. Master cylinder needs to be checked now ..….
Radio works .. it has a 8 track player.
That’s about all I can think of for now...
Let me know if you need any other info.....

Well, so far....so good, now I'll try to post the pictures... fingers crossed....dang it !!! that didn't work. Let me re-group here and try again.

I hope that these open for you...I compressed them from a pdf. file. Let me know what you think, either way.You may have to save the pictures and resize them to see them better.

Wow Jay! Who's cat is it? I haven't seen it around. You should put 'er in your garage! ;>) Unfortunately I'm in the process of buying a house right now (trying too!) ....Tammy and I are parting ways. Keep us informed if he sells it....I have a contractor truck I am going to sell pretty soon to raise some cash. I may be interested if that happens -- hell I'd like to see it either way!

Hey Mike, good to hear from ya! It is located in Center Point, yep it is really a nice piece of history. Wish that I could get it, but I don't have the room for it....unless I get rid of my 70, and that ain't gonna happen! :)
