1970 Cougar standard, auto, a/c, ps, disc brakes, 351W 2bbl. Car has a rusty roof and runs poorly, so should be considered inoperable for transport. Does have brakes. Has a dead cylinder. Engine is a 44,000 mile tranplant from a 70 h code galaxy xl. A lot of work has been done to car. New or rebuilt brake booster, master cylinder, camshaft, lifters, yellowtop coil, stainless steel choke tubes, carburetor w/ tag, correct reproduction radiator hoses, radiator, fan shroud, solenoid, power steering pump, alternator, voltage regulator, starter, rebuilt shifter, gas tank and sending unit, detailed engine bay and headlight assembly and so on. I believe a valve job would cure its ails, but could be wrong. Transmission shifted fine when I used to drive it but it does leak.
Rusty roof, a little rust in front pans, repair to right fender, dent in left rear quarter, excellent doors, fairly nice interior, nice decklid, has hood w/ eliminator scoop, nice front valance and stone shield. Magnums in picture are long gone, will have a set of rollers.
Call (256)282-4055. [email protected] $2900. Located in Anniston, Al., midway between Atlanta and Birmingham, just off I-20, approx. 20 miles from Talladega Superspeedway.
