Thanks for the offer, but if I were to consider a '69, it would have to be Boss or a 4 speed CJ car. Good luck with the sale if you decide to take that route

This '70 Boss is still available. I first saw it listed earlier this summer. At $65k it's priced a little higher than the blue one that sold out of Canada this summer, but doesn't seam too out of line either compared to some other listings I've seen in the last couple years. (My completely unqualified impression was that blue one was practically stolen. (at <$60k IIRC))

The blue one (0F91G516287) didn't meet reserve ~ only bid to $55k.
Same with the comp gold one you posted (0F91G515344) ~ it bid to $50k and failed to meet reserve when it was listed on eBay back in July.

I agree that $65k seems to be a reasonable asking price for a nicely restored Boss Cat. Last year we saw 3 or 4 similar B-cats sell in the $55k neighborhood in public listings (one was a SDP!), and a few went for $85-90k-ish at auction, and of course the Super Drag-Pak Boss Cat that sold for ~$200k.

I believe that Sean is looking for a project for restoration though, not a finished car.

I don't have a link to the thread on one of these forums, and I may be confusing 2 different cars, but I remember the blue one selling after the auction failed to meet reserve. Was the SDP a comp blue also? I remember thinking it was quite a deal. Its maybe the one I'm remembering.

There was a comp blue SDP that went for ~$200k at Mecum. The other SDP last year was comp gold, and went for around $55k.
