:jump3:I just put my tension rods back in and now the trunk wont lift up without help. is it possible to put these in backwards, left side on the right and right on left? does anybody have a picture of these showing the rods installed and also a picture with the long end in place but not twisted yet? when the long end is in place, is the short end pointing up or down before you twist them with the installation tool? thanks

The answer is yes, the rods are on the wrong side. How do I know, I did the same thing. When I switched them, they were a little harder to install, and then the truck lid worked as it should.
