I have a 1969 Convertible with a 351 Windsor M 4 Bbl. What size battery, CCA and CA do I need. The current one that is dead was a group size 75, 670 CCA and 835 CA.

Group 24 would be the size. Anything over 600 CCA should be just fine, but for added reassurance, consider going higher. Hot engines, like cold, need the amps for initial start.

Gary is of course correct. Size is 24F. CCA may range from 575 to 750+. I just bought a battery for my 69 with 351W 4V and chose the battery with the highest CCA (750) and longest full replacement warranty (3 years). Additionally, I like to place the reproduction Autolite cover on the battery, so I chose a battery with a flat top and side vents. Not all 24F batteries will have the same top configuration, but should have the same dimensions.
