$15,100 and met the reserve. Interestingly two of the bidders were "moparorbust" and "w30hurstolds". I asked the seller to send me some more and better pics (like the engine), but I haven't gotten a reply yet.

I asked for pics too and no responce. I would like to
see this car go to a Cougar-nut and be enjoyed by
all cougar club members and mercouger.net people.
We got 5 days left.

This vehicle was ordered with the following options:

Car was built Jan 28, 1969 - 8 days behind schedule.

Of all the XR-7 hardtops built for 1969 only 216 were ordered with special paint of which 39 had black leather interior. The original color was a yellow color, probably Thunderbird or Lincoln.
A paint chip of the true color would have to be sent to Marti Auto Works for a match. This could be considered a rare car! The seller
does believe it had 39K original miles but could not document.
It was sold in Dallas new and then went to California and ended up in Mobile Alabama.
Wish I had $18,000.00, that would be sweet.
