As anyone who has the 1968 dual post headrest option knows, the plastic guides that screw on to the steel mechanism are always cracked or broken. I've priced remaking these out of an engineered resin and chrome plating the parts in the past but it's too expensive.

I'm looing into making guides out of aluminum. I have access to Pro/E CAD for design and CNC machine to make them.

Question: how many people would be interested in replacing their plastic guides with aluminum? The top is the only visible which can be polished or anodized.

Please send me a PM if you have an interest. Also what price you would pay per vehicle set (4 guides).

If I get enough people, I will have them made.

Thank you!
